New Paradise Country Aussie Farm Tour opens – helping to support the longevity of International Tourism on the Gold Coast!
Warner Village Theme Parks has announced PARADISE COUNTRY AUSSIE FARM TOUR the Gold Coasts newest tourist attraction for international visitors is open for business at its new and improved location in peaceful bushland in Oxenford.
Paradise Country was acquired by in 2003 in an effort to attract more international visitors to the Gold Coast with a superior Australiana farm themed product. The Group recognises that showcasing what is typically Australian to the international tourist is pivotal in establishing the Gold Coast as a must-see holiday destination for overseas visitors.
Research conducted by Tourism Australia, Tourism Queensland and the Gold Coast Tourism Bureau validates Warner Village Theme Parks proactive approach to attracting international business, indicating that international visitors are in search of a typical Australian experience.
Chief Executive Officer of Warner Village Theme Parks, Mr. John Menzies, is delighted to be opening the new Paradise Country. The much loved Aussie farm now takes on an even greater Aussie charm than when at its original Nerang site, and the new location is the perfect setting for the country’s best Aussie homestead experience enabling guests to escape hectic daily life.
The new 12 hectare Aussie farm offers the same half-day farm tours including exciting horsemanship displays by stockmen, koala cuddling, kangaroo feeding, whip cracking, boomerang throwing and sheep shearing demonstrations, damper and billy tea by the campfire, as well as the famous barbeque lunch with live Aussie entertainment and bush dancing. The new Paradise Country also boasts a larger sheep shearing show stage, a fabulous rustic-style dining area plus an expanded animal nursery.
In addition to creating a more traditional Aussie bush atmosphere, the new location is better serviced by well-established transport links from Surfers Paradise (the tourist hub of the Gold Coast) and Brisbane, making it much more accessible for international tourists than ever before.
Its convenient positioning between Warner Bros. Movie World and WetnWild Water World also makes travel between three of the Gold Coasts best theme parks hassle-free.
