Paradise Country welcomes an Australian native!
Paradise Country has welcomed an Australian native to the family. Charlie, a 31-year old sulfur-crested cockatoo has become a popular attraction in the animal nursery.
Charlie has been winning the hearts of guests by showcasing his ability to say hello and also to laugh when guests laugh at him. Charlie has also won the heart of his new handler Phillipa (pictured with Charlie) who amazingly shares the same birth date as Charlie.
Sulfur-crested cockatoos are an Australian native and are clearly distinguishable by their sulfur-yellow coloured crest, grey-black bill and thick white feathers. Their diet consists of berries, seeds, nuts & roots and located in most areas of Australia.
