Paradise Country - Aussie Farm Tour celebrates its 3rd Birthday!
On September 1, Paradise Country turned 3! Paradise Country prides itself on providing the ultimate Australian farm experience, with exciting horsemanship displays by stockmen, koala cuddling, kangaroo feeding, whip cracking and boomerang throwing demonstrations, sheep shearing, sheep dog muster, damper and billy tea by the campfire, as well as the famous barbeque lunch with live Aussie entertainment and bush dancing.
Celebrating Paradise Country’s 3rd birthday provides an opportunity to acknowledge the list of amazing achievements that has made the tour a must see among international and domestic visitors.
The Animal Nursery initiative has enabled many animals to call Paradise Country their home over the three year period at Oxenford. Throughout the three years the Animal Nursery has been home to: calves, kids, piglets, miniature pigs, chicks, lambs, guinea pigs, roosters, turkeys, rams, cows, alpacas, Shetland ponies, emus and donkeys.
The move to the beautiful Oxenford site has enabled the farm tour to grow in size, and Paradise Country now boasts a herd of stock horses, and have 20 head of steers (up from three at the Nerang location).
Paradise Country is celebrating three years of operation at its current location after being acquired by Warner Village Theme Parks in 2003, and subsequently moved from its previous home in Nerang on the 1st September 2004, to 12 hectares of beautiful bush land at Oxenford.
